I think this is twice now in one week I’ve received a message where the sender is arguing that some sort of ‘online sex worker privilege’ exists because some of us have a decent amount of followers and most often discuss sex work(er) related issues. I don’t know what makes people sticking together, speaking up for each other, due to mutual stigma and marginalization that they face look like special treatment to non-sex workers. Looks like historically ostracized groups of people helping each other to me, and saying our issues are less in need of sharing because of how supportive we are of one another sounds a lot like marginalization to me! But hey, I’m biased, right? ;)
