Just a little reminder that, while some people may be this thin naturally, I’m not a physically well person. I have gastrointestinal problems that make it incredibly difficult for me to gain weight, and I’m almost constantly losing it if I’m not on top of my diet/getting out of bed despite being in pain. Gaining 3-5 lbs now takes weeks of work, and losing it takes a few days of being in pain and being unwilling to move, which is something I can’t help. That bruise? It’s from my hipbone pressing up against my skin on hardwood for a *couple* of minutes while I was trying to film a video. I get pain very similar to getting this bruise when I sleep on my back, as there isn’t much to cushion where I protrude. You don’t get used to it. At least, I haven’t.
I don’t hate my body. I don’t think being this thin makes me or anyone else unattractive, or should make us feel like we should hide and dislike ourselves. I’m not going to stop posting photos of myself or stop being a sex worker because I have health issues that affect my body. Still, I do feel that in my case it is important for my followers to be reminded of ~why~ I am this thin, that this shouldn’t be your *goals*, and that your good health is more deserving of envy than my ‘flat stomach’.
Take ~care~ of ~your~ body, it’s the only one you have. You may want to look differently, and that’s okay, but if you prioritize and set your goals for good health over unrealistic beauty standards, your body will be thanking you for decades. And that’s ultimately more important than looking thin for Instagram for a few years in your youth, ya know?

Update: Judge Aaron Persky is running unopposed for Seat 18 so, he is not even on the ballot.
We can file complaints about his ethics violation however.
More info on Judge Persky: This is not the only time he has shown bias in favor of student athletes. He also coached lacrosse at Stanford. His inability to remain impartial in the face of his personal prejudices is well-established and he is unfit to serve.

But, after pressure, the sheriff’s office finally released his mugshot on Monday afternoon. It may not do anything to change his short sentence, but seeing Turner’s mugshot will help even things out in the court of public opinion.
